Renewable Energy Institute Publications – in collaboration with United Nations (UNEP)
The REI works with the United Nations UNEP to produce a series of publications for renewable energy and energy efficiency practitioners around the world.
The official technical journal of the REI is Energy Learning – a leading journal launched to detail the latest technical innovations in the industry.
The Energy Learning Journal is run parallel to the International Special Issue (ISI) which is regularly published in print by the REI and United Nations – UNEP.

The International Special Issue-ISI 2019/20 was launched in collaboration with the United Nations (UNEP), the Renewable Energy Institute (REI), the International Institute of Refrigeration (IIR), and Centro Studi Galileo (CSG), entitled Sustainable Cooling for a Healthy Future.
The publication was officially launched and presented in a world premiere at the 31st Meeting of the Parties to the Montreal Protocol (MOP 31), from 4 to 8 November 2018 in Rome, Italy; to Heads of State and Government representatives, signatories of the global agreement on the phase down of dangerous refrigerants for the ozone layer and the climate – the “Kigali Amendment”.

This edition has set a milestone, including over 20 scientific papers and relevant submissions from all around the globe, achieving the highest number so far gathered in a single issue. The Issue addresses the current situation, challenges, opinions and possible solutions for the sector by renowned Associations and Institutions such as UNEP, IIR, AREA, AHRI, ASHRAE, CAR, EPEE, ISHRAE, JRAIA, JSRAE, and relevant experts from Europe, Africa, Australia and China.
The magazine is regularly distributed at UN meetings to all Heads of State, Association Presidents and Government Representatives, providing a useful tool to legislate in the direction of greater environmental protection and the maintenance of the benefits that Renewable Energy provides to the world population.
