REI to Host COP27 Roundtable

REI to Hold COP27 Roundtable

COP27 is underway in Egypt, with representatives from 190 countries discussing the future of sustainability, renewable energy and the climate emergency. With discussions ranging from the implementation of climate finance, to carbon emissions caps and an international fossil fuel non-proliferation treaty; the conference aims to make meaningful change towards net zero and the 1.5 °C goal.

As part of our mission to promote best practice and enhance learning in the renewable energy sector, the Renewable Energy Institute is hosting a roundtable – led by Institute experts – to discuss the key takeaways from the conference. The Institute has made this Roundtable free to attend, and REI Members will receive the recording to watch on-demand.

The Roundtable will be held virtually from 12 – 1pm UK time on Monday 21st November 2022, so you can attend from home or work.

Our panel of renewable energy experts will discuss the conference, as well as questions submitted by the Renewable Energy Institute audience.

To receive a recording of the Roundtable, join the Renewable Energy Institute Membership Programme – either directly, or as part of an enrolment onto a distance learning or virtual classroom course.
