Jon
Renewable Energy Management and Finance
Hydrogen Energy

Jon has vast experience of the renewable energy sector as a university professor and a Director of the Scottish Hydrogen & Fuel Cell Association. Jon also has a senior management and consultant role at EMEC with responsibility for a multi-disciplined team, securing and delivering multi-million-pound hydrogen projects; covering all aspects of hydrogen production, storage, logistics, and end use.

Rob is an experienced consultant, engineer and lecturer having worked in the renewable energy industry for over 30 years. Rob has also been an advisor to the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees on Safe Access to Fuel and Energy, and currently works with the UK’s National Trust.
Alexander
Electric Vehicles

Alexander is a transport decarbonisation specialist with particular expertise in electric vehicles and charging infrastructure. Over the last decade, he has worked with large corporations and governments worldwide to support the race to electrify transport that we are witnessing today. These efforts have given him a broad experience in strategy and policy research which he passionately shares in his lectures.
Marta
Carbon Finance

Marta is an experienced engineer and holds an MSc in Climate Change, Management and Finance. Marta advises on and co-develops bankable net zero project solutions for core infrastructure companies in the UK and European markets. Marta also has experience in the European energy policy and carbon markets through her previous role in market intelligence at Bioenergy Europe.
John
Solar Photovoltaic

John is a professor at Heriot-Watt University, Head of Physics and leader of thin-film materials research. He has over 40 years of experience in R&D of photovoltaic cells and is a member of the Technical Advisory Panel for a UK company developing diamond electronic devices. He is also a co-director of Power Textiles.
Colin
Electric Vehicles

Colin is a professor, industry expert, and leading authority in electrical systems within the transport sector. He was awarded the CBE for services to business and renewable energy in 2018, after 47 years in the industry. Colin established Zero Carbon Futures in 2011 to support the growth of the electric vehicle industry and input into e-mobility policy.
Paul
Renewable Energy Market Trends & Finance

Paul has more than 30 years’ experience as an executive, consultant, and educator. Paul is a senior director in the Energy & Utilities Department of a leading NYC Consultancy Firm. He works with utilities, independent power and distributed energy generators, and state agencies to help plan their response to the U.S. EPA’s carbon emission targets.
