Taking Your Exam
Once you have reviewed all the materials, you can access the exam at the bottom of the course page, below your lessons. Please note that you will need to complete the Exam Preparation & ID Check before starting your exam.
To complete the Exam Preparation & ID Check, please upload a valid form of photographic ID (passport, drivers license, EU national identity card, PASS card etc.). You will then need to confirm that this ID matches the identity of the person taking the exam. Once this has been accepted, you will be able to begin your exam.
Once you have confirmed your ID, you will be able to access the exam page. The exam features multiple choice questions, with each question set out on a new page. Click ‘Next’ to work through the questions.
Once you have answered all the questions, click ‘Submit’. This will take you to a final page which will give you your results. You will be able to access your certificate on the course page and your profile (clicking the icon next to ‘COMPLETE’), if you have been successful.
You can access your exam results on your profile.
Scroll down to find your course. To the right of the course name, you will see an arrow. Click on this arrow and it will open up a window which will show both your proof of identification and your course exam below it. Simply click on the small icon beneath ‘Statistics’ for the exam and it will open up your exam results. Your incorrect responses will be highlighted in red.
You have one re-sit included in the course fee; if you need more than one re-sit, please email support@renewableinstitute.org. Please note that there is an applicable fee should you require more than two exam attempts. Please return to the course page via your profile to access the exam again.
