REI provides bespoke Electric Vehicles training to EDF Energy

This month, the Renewable Energy Institute (REI) delivered the Electric Vehicles course to delegates from EDF Energy. This bespoke course provided the delegates with the skills they need to excel in the Electric Vehicles sector and support customers in transitioning towards this technology. The REI is proud to promote knowledge sharing and best practice in relation to all Green Energy Technologies, and works with Leading Experts, universities and associations worldwide, including the United Nations UNEP, to distribute the latest research, information and training to individuals around the world. As the Renewable and Green Energy industry continues to grow rapidly, organisations and professionals are equipping themselves with expert training from the REI in order to take advantage of the latest opportunities in the sector.
“After today’s course, I feel well armed for my new role in Electric Vehicles and am looking forward to using my new skills.” – EDF Energy, Christopher Lusty: Course Attendee
The training was provided by one of the REI’s expert lecturers, who also teaches the REI’s leading training course on Electric Vehicles in London. The lecturer guided the participants through the Electric Vehicles sector, including the technology, recharging infrastructure and future trends of the industry. As the use of Electric Vehicles increases in both the personal and commercial spheres, companies are looking to equip their employees with expert knowledge on the latest trends and technology in the sector. EDF Energy course participant Ben Lambert said: “The course has provided me with a fantastic foundation to build on. It has grounded me in a positive way and has given me a realistic and clear insight into Electric Vehicles.” The Renewable Energy Institute is the leading provider of Renewable and Green Energy courses in the UK, and has welcomed course participants from organisations including Amazon, the BBC, KPMG and the Ford Motor Company. Renewable Energy Institute courses are designed to improve the knowledge of professionals at all levels of expertise: as EDF Energy’s Linda Whitehouse said, “I found the course very engaging: I knew very little about Electric Vehicles, but now know about manufacturing, production and the plans for the future.” Course participants also have the opportunity to enhance their career prospects and sit the exam for the Galileo Master Certificate, the internationally recognised award for the Renewable Energy industry.
