1. Hi Angela, what is your professional background and how does this relate to the Renewable Energy field?

I have over twenty-five years of experience in the energy industry which includes working for regulated and non-regulated energy companies in various departments (gas accounting, nominations and trading, electric bidding and scheduling, quality assurance and regulatory.) I currently work for Direct Energy, in the Government and Regulatory Affairs team, where I actively participate in rulemaking proceedings, utility rate cases, collaborative meetings, matters related to Reforming the Energy Vision , and any other Government or Regulatory item that is deemed important to the company. My role also supports Direct Energy’s affiliate companies that focus on Renewable Energy, larger scale projects, and business solutions for customers.

2. Why did you choose to train with the REI Accredited Center in New York City and take the exam for the internationally recognized Galileo Master Certificate?

I wanted a course which covered all of the topics perfect for my needs. The REI Accredited Center was the only organization that offered a course solely on EVs, and it exceeded my expectations.

“The REI’s Electric Vehicles course provided me skills that can help develop solutions for our company to move forward in this ever-changing industry.”
